Precision Rifle Training for Law Enforcement and Military Organizations
Ryan is a Police Officer currently assigned as a Detective with a Municipal Law Enforcement Agency on Oregon’s South Coast where he is also a Firearms Instructor, Range Officer and Use of Force Instructor. Concurrent with his duties as a Detective, Ryan is member of a Multiagency SWAT Team where he has served as an Entry Team Member, Sniper/Observer and Firearms Instructor. Ryan is currently the SWAT Team’s Sniper Team Leader. Ryan is a 2005 graduate of Western Oregon University and has attended Firearms courses including: Tactical Firearms Instructor, Tactical Shotgun, Basic Sniper, Sniper/Observer Instructor, MILO and UTM/NLTM Instructor, as well as Glock, AR-15/M4 and Bolt Action Rifle armor’s schools. Ryan has instructed hundreds of hours of annual departmental firearms training and qualifications to include: Handgun, Shotgun and Patrol Rifle, Live Fire Shoot House CQB, Tactical Live Fire Movement, Lowlight/Night shooting, Tactical/Precision Carbine and Precision Rifle/Sniper.

LongCover’s mission is to provide practical long rifle training and consulting services to Law Enforcement Snipers/Marksmen, Tactical Teams and Patrol Officers. Fundamental elements of rifle and fieldcraft are the focus of our curriculum, not gimmicks, shortcuts, or crutches. LongCover’s curriculums are designed to develop the student’s understanding of theories into practical applications intended for real-world operational environments. LongCover is a mobile training organization and will provide instruction at your agency range facility, private range, or other venue.
